Live Today

It is all too easy to find comfort in the idea that another hour, or another day, is just around the corner. Though the harshest moments of life have a way of reminding us that this luxury was never actually ours to enjoy.

Living today does not equate to living tomorrow. 

Living today only equates to living now.

If what you do today doesn’t matter, it may never matter. Tomorrow may not be yours to have.

While we have an opportunity to leave behind a legacy comprised of a lasting story, an endeavor such as this is a result of who we are today.

Your life is a story. It has never been written. It is one of a kind.

The words you say and the thoughts you have are crafting the main character of the only narrative you have been given. Don’t waste the plot. Too many people settle for mere existence, while belittling the unique adventure only they can explore.

If another day is a gift you get to embark upon, you can rest assured that both gold mines and land mines lie ahead. And while these factors will surely impact your future character, all you know for sure is who you are today.

So do some good while the pages turn.

Find some beauty in the beginning and end of each day because the certainty that the next one is coming is an illusion we must surpass.
